Full Stack Developer

As a Full Stack Developer your mission will be to build and scale internal tools and systems that streamline business operations and enhance company-wide efficiency. You will also contribute to developing robust, scalable, and intuitive applications that solve operational challenges and support Equito’s mission of democratizing real estate investment.

Your responsibilities: 💼

• Develop and maintain internal tools to automate and optimize business workflows.

• Enhance and scale Equito’s systems, primarily built on Google Cloud and Firebase.

• Support the development of new features and improve existing functionalities.

• Collaborate with other developers, product, and business teams to identify pain points and deliver effective solutions.

• Integrate and manage APIs and external services to support various functions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in a collaborative development environment.

• Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with development best practices.

• Document technical processes and share knowledge with the team.

• Stay up to date with trends and best practices in full stack development.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

• Web development skills with React or similar frameworks.

• Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud and Firebase.

• Experience with API development and integration.

• Database knowledge - NoSQL.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Nice to have:

• Experience with React and Next.js.

• Prior experience developing and scaling products and internal tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.

• Understanding of security best practices in software development.
