Equito is responsible for sourcing real estate assets, structuring investment opportunities, executing renovations, managing rentals, and distributing monthly income.

We are a team of 38 people. Our app has over 270,000 downloads, and more than €33,000,000 has already been invested through the platform.

About the role

As an Administrative Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of our financial operations.

You will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date accounting records, supporting reporting processes, and helping ensure compliance in a fast-growing and dynamic environment. This role offers strong ownership, learning opportunities, and exposure to the full finance cycle within a real estate investment startup.

Your responsabilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.

  • Perform bank reconciliations and identify/report discrepancies.

  • Keep income and expense records updated and properly classified.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Monitor and control service expenses, comparing budgets per property against actuals.

  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and reports.

  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation.

  • Contribute to process improvements and optimization of financial closing cycles.

  • Help define, document, and maintain accounting policies and internal procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.

  • Take on additional responsibilities as the company grows and processes evolve.

Job requirements

What we’re looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar.

  • 2–4 years of experience in general ledger or transactional accounting.

  • Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas).

  • Experience working with ERP systems (Holded is a plus).

  • Intermediate level of English and advanced level of Spanish.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

  • Proactive and hands-on attitude, with ownership over processes.

  • Growth mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interest in process improvement, automation, and technology.
